This is my latest piece from the lathe, first time I’ve done a lot of work using a fingernail gouge. It was good to make a second one after the first one snapped in half.

Was finishing this bowl today and decided to try a new technique for getting a clean finish using the scraper…it didn’t work.
This piece hit me square in the chest when the lathe was spinning at 2000 rpm, it kinda hurt and now I have a big bruise on my chest
